Packers (Split Shift) – Lymington

Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in Lymington.

Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hard-working candidates to join the team.

The Role:

• Packing finished products as specified on the order.
• To achieve the tasks identified above within an agreed time and effectively communicating progress to others.
• Packing at the end of an extruder line
• Operation of light machinery in a safe manner
• Accurate recording of material waste
• Recording of personal daily activity information
• Participation in company wide and specific continuous improvement activities
• Reporting machine defects, or perceived defects to the Section Leader
• Assisting colleagues/department or undertaking other duties as requested by the Section Leader

Details:

• £11.06ph
• PAYE + Holiday accrual
• Rota:
• Week 1 Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 / Fri 06:00-11:00
• Week 2 Mon-Thurs 14:00-22:00 / Fri 11:00-16:00
• Temp to Perm
• Job progression & Training

Requirements are:

• Numerate and literate
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to be trained in operation of guillotine machine
• Operate as part of a manufacturing team
• Ability to work on your own
